Introducing Ashtaerial, (pronounced “aš-t-erēəl”) an approach to Aerial Yoga inspired by the principles of Ashtanga Yoga. It is the union of “Ashta” meaning Eight in Sanskrit and “Aerial”.
The Ashtaerial Primary consists of the foundational poses for Aerial Yoga to help students develop their practice to a place where they can calm the mind to allow the physical benefits of the practice to resonate. Rooted in the 8 Limbs of Yoga, Ashtaerial pays homage to a practice that has inspired hundreds of thousands of students. With the support of an aerial hammock, traditional mat poses ignite new perspectives which motivate students, brand new or seasoned, to connect deeper with their practice.

Ashtaerial Yoga with Kaye
Shortly after receiving her 200hr YTT certification, Kaye was eager to expand her teaching practice with Aerial Yoga. She was drawn to it because lines and shapes appealed to the dancer in her.
With over 1800 hours of aerial yoga instruction, aerial yoga studio design consultation and aerial yoga studio pop-ups under her belt, Kaye was also a co-facilitator of the former Fly Aerial Yoga Teacher Training certification. From her love of the practice and teachings, she created the new Ashtaerial Yoga Teacher Training certification where students explore the Ashtaerial Primary.
