There seem to be fitness challenges for everything – for butt-firming, ab-forming, arm definition and yes, even for the physical aspect (asanas) of a yoga practice… Actually, I even started an Aerial Yoga Challenge last month on Instagram to join in on the fun.

Here’s why I love them:

1)  They make training and achieving goals entertaining
2)  It is a great way to meet/hang out with people who share the same interests
3)  They expand my mind, and fire me up to learn more
4)  They give me incentives that keep me accountable – even if it doesn’t end up becoming a new habit, the body awareness and the muscle memory will be there for me when I decide to get back into it.
